Finally making a post!

Hi all.

I have been lurking around for a couple of years and decided it was time to start making posts.

I retired from work about 6 years ago, and since then I have been busy as a part time farmer, and a full time "tinkerer".

My "garage" is a shared 32 x 36 building that has been used as my wood/metal shop, so floor space is at a premium. Last summer, I inherited my grandfather's tools. He was a lifelong professional mechanic who started his tool collection when he returned from serving in WW2.

I plan on putting a lift in the shop this fall, and look forward to repairing and rebuilding cars for years to come!

Thanks for the welcomes. I'm sure I will be able to continue using the knowledge and experience of others here to help me with my projects. And I hope that I will be able to help someone else sometime.

Richey - I'm not exactly sure what kind of lift I will install. It will be a 2 post lift. I am shopping for one now. Cost will be a factor, but not the ONLY factor.
