After years of renting and sharing I've finally got my first garage. Pulling lots of tools out of storage that I've collected over the years. Dad was an airplane builder and industrial arts teacher. Grew up with tools all my life. I've dabbled in just about everything under the sun and currently my time is taken up repairing bowling alley pinsetters between 3 centers and doing a little side work with cad drafting/design. The cad design is focused on electrical. Looking forward to sharing tips and finding new ways to get my man cave up to my expectations. About halfway between a single and double with plenty of loft space. The back of the loft extends over half the house so that area will soon be finished up better with lighting and a ships ladder for access I think.

Congrats on the score of your garage, nbm! We will be glad to help you with all the ideas and suggestions you can handle. Some of which will actually be useful.

BTW, we have many here that have airplane building, re-building and flying experience. The sheet metal skills I have learned are helpful around the shop and on the bus.

When you get those tools out of storage and dusted off, start a thread and show us your place.

Welcome to GJ!
