Its coming out great love the tiles you picked.

Thanks. The last two weekends have been a bust in terms of getting anything done unfortunately. I'm about a third done with the grout and am hoping to get some time on this week/next weekend. Then baseboard (tile). Going to take some time unfortunately as I've gotten myself roped into remodeling the kitchen in the house....ugh.

Cheers

Re: Finally, My Porcelain is getting Installed!---Done

Hiya Folks,
Just as an update, I'm done! Had a bit of a hiatus there and started remodeling the kitchen but I found time to get all the grout done, baseboards up, caulking done, and an ok clean on it. Still have a couple spots of caulk that I need to clean up after my caulking gun hose picked up some caulk somewhere :(

So I learned a lot....namely, large format tiles are not easy to set flat! I've got plenty of lippage around but nothing that causes me concern in the garage. If it had been in the house, well, I now know to hire it out...haha.

Still debating a bit with myself on whether I should attempt to seal the grout but I'll hold off deciding anything until after I get this kitchen remodel done.

Anyway, here are some photos of the final product. Again, a big thank you to Dakota for all of his help!

Cheers.

When I first saw the title, I wondered, "when I open this thread, what's it going to be about? New dentalwork, new toilets or sinks, or a floor?"

Looks like it's done well, you learned a lot, and why good tradesmen are worth their fees.
