After many many months of waiting for the ground to firm up enough to put a flat bed on it. I finally got my shed on the 6th.

The stone has actually been down since October 2009.

These drivers have this stuff down to an art. Couple simple maneuvers and it was dead on straight.

After it was in, I built a loft that ended up about 5.5'. Then I built a ramp for the mower and a ramp to match on the man door.

I'm going to redo the side ramp to make it look a little nicer.

Upcoming plans are full electric (passed the homeowners electrical test on the 6th), a small air compressor, a work bench and memorabilia that I think is cool. I already have some signs and plans to have an engine on the wall.

Nice. I'll suggest that you prime and paint that floor ASAP. If it gets wet there..you'll want that sealed. We used a good porch paint on ours and it is holding up after a couple of years.. Post updates!

I have been thinking about floor coverings. It's already got a little wet from the bench that is in there that I had to hose down before I even though of putting it in the shed.

I have a utility mat down to park the mower on so I don't spill gas or oil from that.

I'll probably hit the HD and get some stuff to lay down.

I am really surprised they didn't use pressure treated wood! I would have not even considered using reg plywood. It will collect moisture underneath and rot out after a while. Much much sooner than if PT had been used.

It is open air due to being raised on 4x4s. PT would have lasted longer, but I would think this will last a while too. I've seen Black Bears last quite a while.

Yeah it's open air, but ground moisture rises and will normally collect on the underneath of the floor.

Might be fine for 5-10 years, dunno. Just I would have made sure to use pressure treat to make me warm and fuzzy. :)

Black Bear?

Black Bear is a large manufacturer of pre-built sheds.

I'm just going off of their reputation. I don't know much about it.

Perhaps a high pressure garden sprayer of bleach water or wood preservative applied under the floor every few months would keep the nasties at bay a little longer..
