These rarely hit marketplace in my area and on those rare occasions I am too late. Picked these up the other day for $100 each. Some are brand new and never used and the rest are mix of adjustable and fixed bins. I scraped and "goo gone" the sticker labels and bought a pack of 2x5.5" magnetic labels where The labels slide behind a clear plastic film. Then I created a google doc template to print out 8 at a time once I figure out how I want to organize my stuff. .
I think I did ok! :)

When a former employer changed their hardware supplier from Mechanic’s Choice to Bowman the Mechanics Choice distributor left behind their bins and drawers. I was able to get some of them just by asking politely. They now reside in my Workshop.

A simple Please and Thank You have been good ways to acquire some really nice things.

I got this rack that was fully stocked from a Lowe's that was moving a 1/4 mile to a new, larger building.

For a couple weeks I'd poke in there for the clearance sale (see the clearance pricing).

The kicker is it's all SS!
After going home with odd and ends for several weeks I asked for a manager about buying the whole set up with inventory.
Got it for $900 with unopened boxes of inventory and an older "tilt out" display that was on a pallet "in the back" also full of SS hardware.

I haven't even organized these for display. At the time I would have paid almost that much just for the bins!
I believe that they were changing supplier and this was just small potatoes in they're much larger view of things.

Cool! Those metal pull out ones pop up here pretty regularly but people want a small fortune for them even empty.

NICE! I got mine from a Home Depot that was moving. $800 for all of the bins ($50 per vertical stack). I was so excited about it and then they told me that included the hardware. The upper bins were packed with maybe a thousand of the little bags of hardware; lowers had loose or boxed hardware.
