Took long enough, but it's done! I have plans of one day learning to shape sheetmetal. Most work can be done by hand, but it's tedious and takes forever, making power tools very attractive. I know HF has that little $125 phammer, but I couldn't bring myself to buy it, thing is a piece if you ask me. Anyways, I began this one awhile ago. Made the anvil holder and dies at a machine shop I used to work at, as well as a few other parts. I pretty much made the whole thing, the frame, the anvil holder adjuster system (like the hand wheel and jambnut handle thingy), the little tabs that hold the copper tubing, even the footpedal I made because those foot air valves are expensive so I bought a small Humphrey button valve off ebay and built the foot mechanism around it.
Also, this is the second time I've made this thing

First time I used a clamping style lower anvil holder, I had two tabs coming off the front of the anvil receiver with a nut welded on one of the tabs, and a bolt with a handle on the other, and a long slit down the length of the receiver. Well, no matter how hard I tightened the bolt the hammering action would just barely push the anvil holder down. So I tore it all apart and came up with the jambnut style lock I have now. Works MUCH better.
I've already played with a few pieces of metal, it does job pretty good. Now I just need to work on the e-wheel.... then learn how to shape sheetmetal
