Finally posting from Western Wisconsin

I've been logged in and reading posts here for years and finally have some questions and I will be asking for advice. I'm in Menomonie Wisconsin, about an hour East of St.PaulMN,and will be moving into town to a city lot in the near future. I need to build a garage and shop building before moving, and will probably have design and construction questions.

May I suggest you update your location to some thing a little more specific as in future you may find that helps you when you have specific questions that affect you. Specially given the forum has a very global membership. Often you will find subjects may get different answers depending on locations and regulations.
