Been looking for a couple years. When they come up, they are $600-1k and usually gone pretty quick. Found this one on CL and the seller wouldn't answer calls or emails. Shot him a message through fb and bam. Got it this afternoon.

I got enough dividers to do two or three more cabinets, for when I get them. The ad was two days old and for 150. Thought for sure it was gone. Then the guy gave me two of these three roller drawer "penco" cabinets for 20 bucks. Those will go under the new welding table I'm making. Now, just to find one more similar size vidmar to make a monster roll cart/bench with. I just set it on a roller cart I had for the time being, to be mobile until I start the work bench build.

I've been around Vidmars for a long time in machine shops and what not. our mobile 20' semi container job/tool box for the super bowl and other big events has two of them loaded (over loaded, imo) and have held up great for 8-10 years bouncing down the highways and across jobsites.

so whats the "lista story"? lol are they really THAT MUCH better?

congrats. Looks like an old school lista cabinet.

I didn't see any tags on it, or inside it other than a sticker on the front that had been painted over "Notice open only one drawer at a time" on the top left. I didn't see any stampings anywhere on it, but it was dark and a quick glance.

so it very well could be a lista, but the drawer dividers and mechanism resembles other Vidmars I've used in the past.

Really there's no difference in quality. I own 7 lista's and 1 vidmar and there'll all great. But it's like driving someone else's new corvete and finally buying your own, it's alllllll yours to do as ya see fit

Btw, if the cabinet is roughly 28.5" deep it's a lista. If it's +30" it's a vidmar, in my experience but it sure does look like a lista to me.

I'll grab a couple pictures of my ole style listas when I get home if no one is able to answer this for certain. Honestly it only matters if you're looking for dividers or replacement runners for the drawers. No matter what you got a smoking deal plus it's a cool color combo. Damn shame Photobucket did their bs as the link in my sig shows all three styles
