Hello from gray and dreary Northeast Ohio. I'm Mike, 51, emerging from a long drought of meaningful work shop time. Ambition and 6 years of 100 hour work weeks aren't conducive to spare time in the workshop. It paid off though and now that I'm the boss (only putting in 60 hours/week), I actually have time to dream up, CAD and start making stuff again.

My material of choice is aluminum, but I've been known to cheat with other metals and wood. My small (24'x36') workshop (drafty pole barn) is not much to brag about, but I've got the basic fabrication tools and MIG & TIG welders.

The current victim in the shop is a '78 MGB. I'm not really into building cars (I'd rather play with motorcycles), but this was a steal. With a lot of luck, it will be done (running, safe and pretty) by late April. Also currently under construction is new 2 drawer roller cart for electronic tools and components storage.

Stay tuned for pics of this and some of the items I've made previously.
