So what are these pictures of? Maybe you need some automation with posting pictures so we know what it is we're looking at. 
A few more pics.
Those are steel beams that will hold the sliding glass doors which will cover all the shelves on the sides of the garage. I didn't want traditional cabinet doors that would open into the car. Sliding doors seemed to be a cool alternative. Because of the very long span, they decided to add steel beams to the wood.

I'm TOTALLY blown away, home automation is one of the coolest inventions and the fact that you can control it all from your iPhone is so rad! I really need to do more research on this stuff, I had no idea it could control so many things! Very cool setup with the flatscreen to monitor your parking for lift use. Keep us updated, this is one of the coolest builds out there!
Garagejournal has RUINED me for good. First it started with epoxy floors, then vises, then vintage tools, then giant tool chests, then home/shop lifts, and now home automation! I used to think I would be perfectly happy without all this stuff!
Seriously, that home automation stuff is wicked cool. I wish I knew more about that sort of thing, I bet it's expensive to have installed.

Did you develop the home automation plan yourself, or did you have Control4 or another company design it for you? Do you have any sites or forums that you used to help learn about setting it up?

nice sorry to ask cause you prob already said.i might have overlooked it but is that a drain in your garage to wash your car over. lol your not gonna get any work done out there with that big @ss tv in there
No drain in the garage. I have a CR Spotless water treatment system installed that feeds directly to one of the hose bibs right outside the garage for washing...and there are drains out there. I don't want the car washed IN the garage because it would just make a mess. When you see what my cabinet doors look like...you will see why! ;-)
Sort of a combination I guess. I am using an AMAZING company (integratedaz.com) to do all the work, and the owner of the company happens to be extremely passionate about what he does, but is also very knowledgable in the system and all it's inner workings so he is willing to listen to all the crazy ideas I come up with and then he figures out how to make them work.

Wow, that is very impressive! What happens when your garage becomes self-aware due to all that automation and tries to kill you and/or take over the world? Very nice build.
Very nice build.Been away for a little while, but got back the other day and took a few more pics. They have all the lights in now and most of the ceiling mounted stuff. Disregard the big beam of wood holding up the garage door opener motor. That's just temporary so we can continue to have a powered door until the new door and side mounted motor get installed next week.

The cabinet guy got some work done today so now I don't have to look at that nasty HWH. The electrician installed the LED lights in the cabinet over the TV/work bench (which gets delivered tomorrow) He also hooked up the powered vent flaps so I can open and close them depending on the season.

That is a badass & beautiful setup you have going there...
My only question... You live in Long Beach.. AKA HOT climate, yes? Why would you put your server cabinet in the garage, where it can get over 100 degrees? Is your garage air conditioned? I just see 80tb of storage along with the switches & everything else generating alot of heat..

Although it has hit 100 a few times in the 15 years I have lived here...85 is the highest average temp that we get here in Long Beach. And yes...the garage is Air conditioned. There is only a small server cabinet in the garage; which houses just a punchdown, a POE Gig switch, and Iso-boot bar and a few other low heat automation components. All the main servers and storage is in the server room upstairs.

I echo the other comments...just when I thought I knew what my dream garage would look like...you go an add a new twist...robot controled coolness. I love it.
