Pretty cool Optec Units.

There is another row of 3 right above me as I took the pic, I left out the one on the far left because of the office/bathroom being framed up.

Yep, that be them. Funny thing, the pics on that link are from renderings my company created.

They are around $480 each for the fixtures I got, but come in different configs. You need to find a distributor, most larger electrical suppliers can get them, if not they will know who can.

Looks like the cost might be somewhere between 430 ans 450. If you are interested, I can get you directly in contact with the Optec rep, and you can bypass the distibutor mark-up.

Im waiting to hear back from them she wouldnt give me a price without talking to her engineers. I have a 40x40 so i think i would need 4-6 of these makes it pretty expensive though

I have 15 in my 40x60. Would have been 16, but there was an office in the corner.

I have the C0820, 120W, 600mA, High bay low bay, ceiling mount with the N39 Lens, 5000K color.

Thats single phase right?

How far apart did you mount them?

Last question have you checked the foot candles at the floor or working height (theres a free phone app for this i think)

Thank you for sharing REKIII
Your layout looks nice, but efficiency and lumens per $1 figures are low by today's standards:
11808Lm @ 117W = 101 L/W
11808Lm @ $480 = 25 Lm/$1

It is single phase.
They are about 10' apart the short way and closer to 12' the long way.
I have not tested candle power, I'll look into the app for that.

I didn't really do the math on the lights before I got them. I was working with the manufacturer on related projects and really liked the quality of the light, so I had the lighting engineer do a layout and bought the lights. I'm really happy with them.

Don't stress over it REKIII, unless you mount 50 T8 fixtures around here, it seems you will get grief. Sounds like you got exactly what you wanted and are supporting someone who ultimately supports you. Good on you.

Thanks guys, the lighting is amazing. I had the overhead open last weekend when it was bright and sunny. The lights easily overpowered the natural light and kept the weird 'sun shadows' out.

I like the white painted trusses and other framing members. Reminds me of an old gym or factory. Very cool.
