I've been planning to install porcelain tile in my garage for the past 2 months. The floor is 2 years old, 800 sq ft, and in great condition with no previous coatings. I've been looking for a tile setter for the last couple of weeks and have come up empty handed. I've laid tile before a few times in the past but never more than 300 sq ft at a time. With winter approaching I'd like to get this job done soon but I don't have the time to do it myself.
Where do I find a tile setter? I've tried personal recommendations, Craigslist, and an interior designer my wife knows. I'm not overly picky but I haven't talked to anyone yet that has done a garage and most question if I should be doing it at all. I see there are a number of members in Virginia so if anyone could point me in the right direction to find someone I'd greatly appreciate it. I plan to document and post the project once it gets started.
