Looking for a place to find spray cans of colors that you might see on older machinery, decks and shelves... the closest paints I can find and these ugly gold and black hammered finishes. I would like to paint my tables and a couple of ugly orange fans and my harbor freight parts washer..
Thanks fellas

Rustoleum "Dark Machine Gray" is close to the traditional "Machinery Gray" color and also very close to the color of the vise and stand in the photo you posted.

General Paint has a line of industrial rust resistant paint called, Weather-it.

The paint is oil based, thins and cleans up with mineral spirits and comes in a variety of colors. You can get it at any General Paint dealer.

Not sure if you don't like hammer tone or just the gold and bronze colors.
Hammerite makes hammer tone in all kinds of colors. Good, durable paint.
I bought mine at Jamestown Distributors. Kind of expensive for spray cans, but it is good stuff and if you can get the look you want, it's worth it.

Machine or the old "battleship gray". You can add a flow agent so it will flow and hid the brush marks and a hardener. Got mine at TSC. They have since changer their paint product lines and have no knowledge of the current product. Lots of paints out there. Good luck.

I'd go with the Rustoleum, too. I have used it for years on everything from mailboxes to machinery. It has always served me well.

Try Sherwin Williams- that is where the companies I work for buy their industrial equipment paint. If you can get the RAL number of what you want, they can make it.

If you have a Tractor Supply Store near you, check out there selection. Many paints for older tractors were close to some of the old machinery colors and tractor paint sticks to anything!!!
