Okay, I have a new garage. I'm trying to decide how to finish the floor. If I use epoxy, do I need to do anything to a brand new floor. Do I need to prep it in anyway or just get the epoxy paint and get going? It has a sealer on it.

Thanks,
JBC

The best option for a DIY'er is to diamond grind the floor. The sealer needs to be removed and an acid wash will not remove it. If you try the shotblasting and have never used one before, be careful, it is easy for a novice to chew up the floor too much. Good Luck.

JBC saw your wings. What type of airplane did you drive? I was in Marine CH-46's 1966-1970 Crew Chief/Mechanic, but I got lots of stick time!
