I needed a stable for the bikes and a place to work on them. I bought an Amish 12x24' (super - taller sidewalls) mini barn, 2 windows, hung door, garage door.

Floor is 1 5/8" tongue/groove on 12' OC 2x4"s on top of 5 pressure treated 4x4s.

I ran a 100amp service, 22 outlets, 2 240v outlets, drywall, blah blah blah. Way too much work but it turned out nice! I've added black wall base to give it a more finished look but haven't taken any pics yet.

If you would have butted it up to the house, that would look like a room addition. Nice work and great looking workspace!!!!! Did you seal the floor and what kind of finish trim are you going with?

Great Job!! -- and a nice looking floor. Now you just have to fill it up with equipment and more tools
That's the fun part.

BTW that was about the size of my first garage, and I thought I was in "hog heaven". It beat working on a concrete car port.

Did you buy this pre-built? If so is it an issue to get it transported/delivered?

Seems like a good way to get "another" garage space for storeage and work area...but not for auto use.

Yep it came prebuilt, I just ran the electrical, insulation, drywall, lights, blah blah blah.

On the receipt it has a top view of the building with window locations but they're just drawn in and not to scale.

Delivery was free (if you're in the northeast there's bound to be a dealer in your area) and they came in on some fancy trailer that could move (hydraulically) up, down, left, right (& twist left/right) forward and backward. It even had an extra set of wheels that could drop down and allow it to move left/right even farther. it was wicked. guy said he paid 20K for the trailer. ouch.

building delivered to my house was like 4500, 2 windows, heavy floor, insulated garage door, hung door with windows, double top plate, 16" OC studs & rafters, 25 year shingles, T111 (with 20 year warranty). I even got to pick the colors.

Guess I should add that they have A frame style buildings the same size for about a grand more. I was actually able to get more space out of this one (big surprise -- but loads of work) by going high on the ceiling.

You can also get any color vinyl siding if you prefer that over T111. Again, add about a grand.

If anything goes wrong with it they'll come fix it as long as you own it.
