I had a 24x24ft drywalled garage attached to the house that I added 16' to. I was able to get kraft faced r-19 for the walls @ $16 a roll from HD so was all set there For the ceiling the existing garage has r-30 kraft faced insulation just laying inbetween the trusses. I don't think the kraft facing has much benefit as a vapor barrier since it isn't stapled but I wanted to see what the consensus was here. Should I get more kraft faced insulation and just lay it inbetwen the rafters(new part is stick built) ontop of the sheetrock or is the kraft still beneficial w/o the tabs being stapled
