First, I want to give big thanks to Fernando (thegarageguy) for all the guidance. I couldn't be happier with all the guidance he gave me and taking my phone calls. A real stand up guy.

I went with a water base primer so it can soak into the grinded floor. Next was a 100% solids base coat. Then 2 coats of a polyurethane top coat with some shark grip additive for some traction.

Everything was applied with an 18" roller. The base coat was poured onto the floor, squeegeed and back rolled. Used 15 gals of base coat epoxy.

Helping me were 2 friends, one of which is a retired bridge painter.

Here are some pics:

Hey Billy thanks for the kind words, glad you got through it. I'm sure having a retired industrial bridge painter didn't hurt.

Very nice. What is the square footage of your floor?

The exterior dimension of the building is 60x35 (2100 sq ft). I studded out the interior walls and built a room (9x7) in the corner. The exterior walls are constructed out of 12" block.

Don't know the exact floor sq footage.

Thanks to all

Floor looks great! What did you use to fill the cracks in the second picture? How visible was the crack after the final coat was put on?

I have similar sized cracks in my slab and am wondering if they will show up or not, and, how to go about fixing them.
