Looks good.

Around here, we would have had to have sections of flex conduit from the panel up to the joist space.

gball....looks good....but as riven said....no exposed NM.

I think there are some exceptions for a garage...but this does not look like a garage.

good to know. and i was actually going to put the side wires in something but didn't because they weren't to begin with. we'll see what the electrician i'm going to have come check over my work says. can i use that watertight stuff, i have a roll of it, or does it have to be metal or PVC? and are the wires out the top ok or would they need to be inclosed too? and yes, this is in the basement. the big dangling wires in the before picture went to the pole barn. now the big grey wire out the top runs to the panel in the new garage with the wires to the barn run from the garage panel.

No issues if that was in nj as far as the romex, if it's unfinished basement then the outlet would have to be gfi, other than that looks good to me

Not liking the exposed Romex, but….
The panel on the left looks to be mounted up close to the ceiling, not sure what the height is, but the highest breaker inside the panel cannot be more than 79” from the floor below it.
Sure looks better than the before pics though.
Good luck, hope it passes inspection for you.

I agree with putting a frame and doors around it. It looks like a standard basement so you should not have a height issue.
And basements do need gfci's. Are there gfci breakers?
