Great weekend for finishing up the siding on the never-ending project. A few pictures to update the progress.Time to start preparing for the concrete floor. The side door is going to be a sliding barn door.

It is 26x40, and has a 2nd floor over the front 2/3rd's. A steel beam runs from between the doors back 25' with 1 post at the end. The back is cathedraled up to put a 2 post lift in. Next is the floor and electrical.

My never ending project hits a big milestone, The Floor is Poured!!uploadfromtaptalk1468153912075.jpg
5" minimum with mesh and rebar at the 3 door openings. They finished smooth as glass. 8" thick area behind the post with a mat of bar 8" o.c. at the bottom where 2 post lift will sit.

Nice looking build. How are you adjusting the grade for the man door on the side?

How long have you been working on this?
Its been about a year. I have done a lot of the work myself so it has taken longer than expected. I will have a couple of stairs out the back to a path leading to the driveway. So far the only parts I have subbed out was the foundation walls (I poured the footing), the slab and the shingles (I needed a break). I also just had the overhead doors installed.
I owe payback Labor to a few friends and family who helped with the framing. Though I would have been there for them anyway. I am going to acid stain and seal the floor. I am putting in a new 200 amp service. Fun fun fun

Just finished acid stain and sealing the floor with 2 coats of sealer. Almost ready for the electrical inspection and then they can hookup the power on the pole.
