Time to re-supply on these and I wonder what types everyone uses and suggests. My shop is welding, wood and automotive

Get an ABC Dry chem and a water/foam unit. Use the water unit first unless its electrical or gasoline fire since you can refill it and the mess is not gigantic.

CO2 is also nice for the electrical/oil fires but they are more expensive at first. Pretty cheap to fill

Spot on !

Notice he recommend 2 right off the bat ! CO2 works well on most things although it is heavy and $$$.

If your shop has multiple exits, have one by each door. If you have a designated welding/grinding area, have one there.
