Any of you guys use a fire place to heat your man cave. I just bought a good size pot belly stove used out of the local paper. Tell me how it works for you guys. Thanks.

Fireplaces are notoriously inefficient for heating. They look great and are great to curl up in front of, but they are not a good choice for a heat source unless you use an airtight insert. Unfortunately, pot bellied stoves are not much better. They burn a lot of wood for the amount of heat produced.
If you want to heat with wood, you would be much happier with an airtight stove, especially an modern, efficient one. Be sure you follow safe practices for installation and use proper clearances or you may find your fire insurance is void.
