Fireplace glass etched?

I have a Regency Fireplace insert - awesome for our Condo - I’ve had it around 12 years.

Sometimes, a fire log will shift forward and basically lean against the glass pane. Over time, it has ”etched” (for lack of a better word) a spot in the glass.

Is there anything I can do to clear that off, or not?

suggestions?
