Has anyone ever seen one of these?
Who made them for Firestone?

I actually saw one of these for the first time today. Guy was asking $40. I thought it looked a lot like an older Proto ratchet. Any idea what they are actually worth?

I had a complete set in metal box a couple years ago. All marked Firestone and in nice shape.
I don't think I've run across but 1 or 2 sockets since.

What drive size? I'd say $18-35, depending on variables.

If I had a mint condition Firestone pebble 1/2, I'd start it at $40 and if no one jumped on it within a few days, I'd start lowering the price. $40 would only work if it was mint and someone had a stiffy for it.

1/2" I believe. Very clean, not mint but very clean. So I guess you could say he was asking a fair price?

Thanks for the information. The guy that had it sells a lot of used tools and its hard for me to tell if his prices are a little high at times or if it is actually rare what items I've never seen before.

Thanks for the information

Personally, I'm on the very low end (or below) of what Bull estimated on most ratchets I've picked up over the years. There are only a few that I've gone to the high side (or higher) for over the years. But I'm a cheap son-of-a-gun and end up passing on (or missing) more than a few. I did just fish a transitional Proto-Plomb 1/2" out of the 'bay that was one of those rare higher end bids for me.

And I'm no power seller, so maybe my data is flawed. I'm going off of what experience I have, which constitutes the sale of maybe 100 - 150 ratchets.
