First Charcuterie board

Shingles and Shakes are different. Shakes are like Shingles, but twice as thick.

I was always told that wood shingles are sawn and wood shakes are hand split with a froe.

I'm still trying to figure out when 'cold cuts' got turned into 'charcuterie'.

Maybe it was originally charcuterie and being difficult to spell the name was reduced to cold cuts.
