First ever Snap On box

Ok so my whole life I've had cheap boxes and while they worked I got sick of running out of room and the issue with narrow drawers. I got to asking my Snap On driver about used boxes and he ended up talking me into a new box. I'm not gonna say what I paid but it was well under half of the list and I'm super satisfied. I've finally made it to the point where I could afford what I wanted. Sorry for the pictures being so dark. So here it is my new KRA2422 95th Anniversary Snap On box.

What brand of wax do you plan on using...?

Very Nice Box OP! Welcome to the club!...I remember the flyer announcing those 95th boxes, its a sharp box for sure...

As for wax...funny you mention that BDT/NWMN..I was looking at it tonight and thought I'd wax up my KRL and Epiq Table tonight, but my SpeedWax was in my basement...I think I'll try it tomorrow..

You dare post heresy like this on the HF 44 fan board? My local route driver had a KRL in that exact 95th anniversary scheme and it looked fantastic in person. If I wasn't already set with a KRL I would absolutely get that color. Nice job

I wouldn't post what you paid, nobody will be shocked but you will have to put up with people telling you how many Harbor Freight boxes that equals.

But... But... I'd like to know how many 32nds of a Snap-On box I could have bought instead of my HF 44".

3? 4?

He dealt you a good price in advance of the 100 year anni. boxes coming out and causing the value of yours to plummet. ;)
Congrats.

Nice looking box, when I bought my first one, I said that it would be my last………….that lasted for about a year.

HAHAH, Very true...whoever says "one and done" is obviously a rookie.

I got a new KRL722B in my shop that I never really even moved tools into. The handle, "welcome to your new box" paperwork, and other items that come with a new box are all still in the bottom drawer. The only tools in the box are my rarely used tools and a bunch of new in box tools I haven't used yet.
...The kicker here is I haven't moved into it cause I don't think its big enough and I'm shopping for an upgrade...:lol_hitti

Haha maybe so but that's ok. I fell in love when I saw the box come on the truck that comes by our shop and it had been on there for a couple months, I bit the bullet. I'm glad I did when I did because the driver said he had 6 other guys on his route ready to buy it. Luckily it came home with me and kudos to our guy, he delivered it to my house for me. I'm by no means a huge buyer on the tool truck. Small stuff here and there for home use on the side since my job is an estimator at a body shop. Never really bought more than a $100-$150 off him at any one time. He took the time to drive to my house and deliver the box after his route was over, set me up with the registration for the warranty and hooked me up with some Snap On goodies. I hear stories about terrible drivers and I know, our guy before was horrible. Never pleasant to deal with but since he retired our new guy has been awesome. He's got a Snap On customer for life.

Btw...all I've got in my arsenal for detail at the moment is Turtle Wax black detail spray and some Meguiars #21 synthetic sealant. I'm definitely open to suggestions as this is my first Snap On box.

Congrats! My first SO box is my profile pic, I'm getting a bigger one soon but that, 9 hand boxes, a pegboard and a cheap Walmart Stanley hold most of my tools.:thumbup:
