First Kennedy box....with vises

5 or 6 year old Kennedy 4806 box with two 5 inch Columbia vises attached. the box is showing a little age.The lock cylinder for the drawers is busted but replaceable. Slides in good condition.

Condition is everything here. Description is nice but pictures will tell the tale.

All I have is crappy cell phone pics right now. Gonna look at it Wednesday. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't TOTALLY off base. It does not have any obvious rust or damage to the crinkle other than the usual around the top of the work surface. As well as a little bit of paint spillage. I grilled the guy about it for a while with texts and phone calls until I am comfortable with it. The only gamble is that it is a 3 hours drive to go see it face to face!

I think I may have asked just as many questions about the two vises as I did the work station.

I was wrong in my original post. I stated that both vises were attached and the same size. That is not right. The small vise is attached and the larger vise is being sold with it. I cannot find my picture of the larger vise.

Ok, now what do you guys think? I am new to the Kennedy stuff. Never seen one this size in person. Anything to look for?

larger vise???? What the F is that thing attached to it.... I have a 80lb Reed vise and that thing looks bigger than it...

Id see if you could get vises without the box.
That box doesn't strike me as impressive at all.
I certainly wouldn't drive 3 hours to see it.

This is confusing as hell...

I see a large roller cabinet, I see a fairly large vise attached to it. Am I seeing a 6 drawer Kennedy inside the large roller cab? If so is there more storage ins their on the other side?

is there a still larger vise floating around?

Or is the vise shown the large vise, the small one is not shown, and the K is a 6 drawer stand alone?

Daves -- It isn't a show stopper for sure, but it fits my particular needs perfectly. and you are right about the vises. they are a big selling point.

Outlaw -- that USA roll around work surface cabinet with two legend doors on front and two shelves on back. open the large doors and one side is a set of shelves and the other is that set of 6 drawers. also, that is the small vise mounted to the work bench.

This is the final haul for the $700. The three big ones are all columbia and the small one is a wilton I think. It is missing the tag, but looks identical to the small wilton we have at work. Then the workstation itself.

Nice haul. The Columbian is a little on the small side....but....I'm sure you could sell it. lol
