Hey guys, cool site! I spend as much time in my garage as in my house (probably like most of you) so I really dig this site.

Anyway, I've got some garage cabinets that I've built to hold my junk. I'd like to not have to look at the junk now and would like to put some doors on it. The rest of my cabinets are melamine and that would be my first choice. The problem is it would take 3 sheets to do it at $27 per sheet. I would rather look at my junk :)

Suggestions??

Jack

cover your junk

Jack check this out. some plexi glass spray paint and hinges.
I sprayed one side and used the other side as the front. Drill the holes for the hinges then pull the film off one side clean and paint, then pull the film off the other side.

well my junk was hid!

I call it plexi glass, its plastic glass used to replace windows ect. Magnets hold them closed. These are metal but it can be done on wood. The bow ties I picked up from a car show, they are on the out side (unpainted side)
anything bigger you would have to put some kind of frame behind it.

When I needed cabinets for the garage, went to Habitats for Humanity. Found a set of kitchen cabinets, 4 pieces, with drawers and doors for a hundred bucks, and they delivered them for me.
