Long time HAMB member, trying to improve my garage situation... so here I am. Bought this so I could have a tool box in my second garage, which is about a 100 yard walk back and forth. Old Snap On top that I am redoing. Question about the bottom box; is this an old Craftsman? has nothing on it to I.D.

Welcome! I think Sears Sold them My Dad passed his on to me "Huot name on it".
In need of a restoration another project for me. your looks a little older or newer than mine?
He just got it when I was 7 or 8 and I used it as a stand to spray something. Not good!

Have you looked inside the drawer near the handle? Not sure what years they did that but I think it started in the 50s which looks like the period your box is from (single centered handles)
You can open it up and take a pic and then enhance the phone pic to see if there’s a stamp
**also, you will get more bites if you go to the vintage forum, find the “vintage toolbox” thread and post it in there.
