After initially buying Eagle Natural Seal (which is being returned tomorrow) and then minutes away from me buying V-Seal, I finally settled on buying Legacy HD39 for my new construction detached garage shop. Before I go buy this I wanna try to verify that I only need to clean the concrete but don't have to do any etching before applying. Though poorly power troweled by my builder, the floors are smooth and I don't want to rought them up if I can help it.

Governor,

Yes, good cleaning required. Remember, this product penetrates and therefore we don't need a lock on top.

Remember to mop off any material that remains after approx. 15 minutes.

When you say "mop off" is it easiest or recommended to use a mop? Can you just hose the excess out the roll up door or squegee it? A little more information would be appreciated. Looking at the same product for my pad in a month.

I am guessing you have a really big area.
Yes, if it's not feasible to mop or wipe off, it's ok to use water.

Again, this is not a common event. Most floors absorb the sprayed material and there is no need to mop or remove any residual.
