Good afternoon everyone.
I have been lurking for a while and decided to finally post and introduce myself. my garage is a large one car that hasn't had a car parked in it since I bought the house 6 years ago. I've modified the setup several times to try to maximize my work spaces, but have just picked up a nice 5 shelf free-standing unit that got a lot of random stuff out of the way. Also, I just brought home a new cabinet that I plan to use for both tool and miscellaneous blade, grinder, sanding materials storage. I'll post pics shortly and start a new thread to show off all the random things I've stuffed into this space. Thanks to all the contributors that I have gleaned information from. Found out tons about the vises I have as well as some of the tools I have inherited from my grandfather and great-grandfather. This group is awesome.

Welcome to the Journal. Small spaces mean a little more discipline, but you'll be surprised by how much you can do with them.

Definitely. I have been able to cram the garage with so much that projects have been nearly impossible to access. Now I am almost at the point where the only obstructions to the open floor space are items on wheels: 2 cycles, 1 lawnmower, 2 snow blowers, one medical cart and my flux core welder cart. Almost functional now.
