Posted on HAMB but now I need garage help, dont have a pic right now but its just one big piece non powered that flips up in the garage kinda heavy but im young so its ok.

Anyways its completely ruined sags badly and its not secure, so I need to rebuild it out of either wood or metal. Cost is a concern.

I have a wood shop at my disposal as long with a metal shop but no on site welder so anything metal would need to be bolted together I guess I can weld it but id rather not if anyone cares gotta bring a welder down to the house and all that.

Ill get pics later but I dont know what the style of garage door is called that is just one big slab, The springs and arms that hold the door seem to be in a fine condition its just he door is horrible.

Thoughts are welcome

Size is about 7 feet high and 10 feet wide.

Welcome to the GJ. You will probably be better off just going to Lowes or some such a place and getting a complete roll-up. You might even find one at a scratch and dent place for a steal. JMO

I live in Vegas, keeping out the elements is not really an issue for me. Went to lowes said i need to talk to someone about a quote since its a non standard size and then some lady(18 year old gal) was like"Umm 7 foot 3 inches like what is that in all inches?" So I left cant imagine a door at lowes is cheap but I will try another store maybe.

Might just have to experiment and keep a record for a GJ first building your own garage door!

Go online and get an idea what you want. Print off all pertinent info including pictures. Take same to Lowes, HD, Sears or any other building supply outlet. Yellow pages, OH door installers.
