Hey Guys,
As usual I've been a long time lurker but never posted on here.
I'm a garage lover but never had the pleasure of one of my very own. My dad has always had a LOT of shed space on his property so I've just kept all my toys and tools at his place since forever.
However, I've finally started my own shed build and am nearing the final stages before erection.
My wife and I have a 25 acre property on the Fleurieu Peninsula, south of Adelaide, and I'm building a 12m x 18m x 4.5m (roughly 40' x 60' x 15') shed. The shed will mainly be used for me to play around with my toys. Mazda rotarys (I hear the sigh's
) as well as a few vintage tractor restoration projects that I've been planing for quite a while. And of course the after work/weekend welding projects (the list is growing by the hundred)
I'm building it from scratch, using the plans my dad had drawn up by an engineer. We built the same shed at his place about 10 years ago, so lucky for me I have all the engineering plans as well as a working structure to base my design on.
Thats about enough from me. I'll keep everything else for a post in the 'Garage Gallery' thread when I get to a point with more interesting pictures.
Cheers
Scott.
