Hi All, this is my first post on here. I have been looking for larger vise than my Wilton gunsmithing vise and found this Morgan #50 with the stationary base. Only paid $25 for it. I have it taken apart now and am in the process of cleaning it up. I believe I am going to go the boiled linseed oil route as I really like the finish that gives. I will have to figure out what I will do when I put new jaws on as it is currently missing jaws and the holders are severely damaged. New jaws can be ordered from Morgan Milwaukee for a fairly reasonable price. I will post more photos as I progress.

Nice pickup. Looks like someone used it without jaw inserts. The new ones should cover most of it up.

Make sure you get the correct jaws. Later (and current) Morgans use a T-style jaw insert, but your old Morgan uses the "C-style" which is essentially reversed in shape. Judging from the wear on your vise jaws, you may be in for alot of work to install new inserts.
