First post, new member, Building my shop

I am a new member. I got directed over here from Pirate4x4. Been building a shop and I have roughly 14 8 hour days in this. This is being built primarily by my wife and I. I have a good friend who has contirbuted several hours too.

The shop is 30x40 with a 10 foot "porch"...so it has a 40x40 footprint. I am using 6x6 poles and 40 foot reclaimed chicken house trusses.

I am having issues getting pics to load so more to come.

You might be trying to post too many pics at once OR the pic size is too large. Keep the pics coming.

Thanks. Resizing appears to be the problem. I have a build thread going over on Pirate4x4. I would post the link but i am not sure it that is PC. Its in the shop and tools sub category!

question---Planning to install a 2 post car lift. I am unsure on the concrete. My research say 4 inches minimum of 3000# concrete.

Sound right? Should I place the anchors in concrete as it is poured? After concrete is cured? or??

If I put anchors in as concrete is poured, how can I be accurate when i haven't even bought the lift yet??

basically I need experienced guidance.

I made the concrete a few inches thicker in the general area where the lift post sit. Then drilled and anchored the lift later.
