I'm new to this forum.

My interest at the moment is in tools. I closed my one-man Harley shop about 12 years ago. I kept most of my tools, especially had tools.

But the time has come to turn them loose, and I am looking for advice.

I have a very nice Proto 500 SAE 7-pc. combination wrench set, in the original leather tool roll. I never used them; I bought them because I just liked the look and feel, but then decided they were too nice to use.

I tried to upload a photo, but I'm not sure it made it.

Anyway, where should I be advertising this for sale?

Thanks

What you need is some rich farmer from North Dakota to buy them.

And don't sell'em cheap; the dude's loaded. :D

Take em to ebay. Seems like something special, leather tool roll=real nice. I don't know what you paid but proto wrenches are pretty pricey. Let the market determine the price unless you get a satisfactory offer here.

I have that set, minus the leather pouch. It's a sweet set. Keep it and use it. Life is not a practice run.

With Christmas just weeks away, that would sure look nice in first toolbox I plan on giving my teenage son !!! ;)

Seriously, virtually ANY GJer here would love that set, as a collectible or gift to important family member.

However, due to rarity . . . . . .
I'd suggest that YOU KEEP the set & pass it on to your kid when the time is right
.

/envy of cool Proto 500 SAE wrench set :D
