Good Morning Gents,

This Wilton bullet vise has been hiding in plain sight right under my nose for a few years until I realized what it was. And by realized, I mean one of my good friends jaw dropped when he saw it. That's when I figured it could use a little tune up.20170124_084136.jpg

Don't have any before pics but it had about 6 layers of paint on it. That last picture was after cleaning.20170124_084202.jpg

Looks like the static side is cracked up by the jaw area and theres also a large chunk out of it. However what size is it? Width of the jaw area? Is it 4-1/2"?

Polished internals, friction sides of the spindle assembly, and end piece cap. Left the rest as it was just cleaned up a bit. The anvil and jaws were hand filed a little square up and level out.

Hmmmm...indeed. The Model# 101028, the year says it was manufactured in 72. That's what I know. I just assumed it was a 4", the actual width is 3 7/8".

Nice job Cazador23!

I don't know why some folks insist on cluttering up thread after thread trying to sell vise parts rather than just sending a PM :(

^ It's only a problem if you have more vises (vices?) than she has pairs of shoes. ;)
