I'm getting tired of the message, that I haven't posted anything & I should introduce myself. :D

Hi, I'm Jeff Davidson. I live in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA. I plan to retire, in the next 6 years, sell my house, & move a bit south, closer to my in-laws. My wife & I have been looking at new & used tract house, in the area. A lot of the new construction, have tandem, 3 car garages & some of the fairly new houses, have 3 across garages or 2 car & separate 1 car. I've even seen some 4 car tandem & 4 across.

Since I'm a car guy, & want to build a street rod, when I retire, a 3 car is my minimum. I've been lurking, for a bit & have found the forums to be quite informative. I've been getting quite a few ideas, from you all.

Jeff

Welcome to the Garage. Since you're at ground zero for street rods have you considered finding one that needs TLC? The hunt for the right one may be as interesting as building one yourself. A great book by former Hot Rod magazine writer Pat Ganahl may be a good start to get some ideas his book Lost Hot Rods: Remarkable Stories of How They Were Found is great.
