Hello, I'm Tom and now I've retired to Florida and I've picked up a lot of knowledge from members that share info and photos.

From what I can discern, at one point manufacturers made chests in the 33" width. (33.5").

Based on an earlier post I stumbled across one top chest from Mac MB910 that's a similar size but I'm curious if there's anything that might be an option for me. Although I can't find the model number from Kennedy, it looked like they had something like a 3350/335 that was also a 33½" chest.

It needs to sit on top of an intermediate box, so I'd need to stay between 32" and 33½" width and a depth of 18". The original box was a Craftsman ProSet Model No. 706-652640.

The unicorn I'm hunting for is Model No. 706.651130.

But I'm simply looking something that could come close.

Yes, I also re-read the guy on here who made about 70 posts trying to get Sears to honor his lifetime warranty...after he got it at markdown.

Btw. I found a 1960-ish Edsal cart (from a Chicago manufacturer. Disassembled and sandblasted and powder-coated the metal, replaced the hardware and added new casters. (that is what houses the box now.

Any suggestions are much appreciated and thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum from Southwestern California.

Good luck on finding any support from Sears, the only remaining part of that company seems to be the Appliance Service Section.

Like NOS Oldsmobile and Desoto parts what you are looking for may be in the same Phantom warehouse as the Tucker parts.

I don't need any support from Sears, I was simply asking for a recommendation on a chest that measures 33½" (I know that it's a somewhat strange size, but it looks like many years ago, at least three (3) manufacturers made a chest in that exact dimensions (Mac, Snap-on & Kennedy).... does anyone have another chest recommendation?

Thanks again,

12GA.
