Went into the pawn shop after school today, scored a 207FAMY 7 pc metric hex bit set and 208FAY SAE hex set that was missing the 3/8 bit for $20 each. Ill have to get a few of the bits replaced, but the chrome part is like new. Both even came with Snap On socket rails, the sets list for about $150 Cdn each.

Find yourself a friendly Snap-On dealer, that will exchange the broken bits for you. They are guaranteed. I bought a Snap-On impact driver that had all broken bits. The local dealer replaced all of them at no charge. I did make a small purchase to show my good will. I would have spent more money buying the replacements than the cost of the tool purchase. Even though they are warranted, the dealer still has to make a living. When you buy from them they are more inclined to doing warranty work..
