Hi guys,

I got my garage floor coated in a polyaspartic coating in the fall and haven't really done much other than vacuum ir ocassionally during the snowy winter.

Gonna give it a good clean in the next week or so.

Is it ok to use a pressure washer? This would just be a cheap electric one from home depot or something. (haven't bought it yet)

I just broom, or petrol blower, then use a bucket filled with warm water and ammonia and mop the floor. Looks like new again.

No need to pressure wash. Dirt and grime is not adhered well at all to a good polyaspartic top coat. It should all come up with some ammonia and warm water as bigjon stated. One of the reasons for having such a coating is to make cleanups easier to begin with and not have to break out heavy duty cleaning equipment like you would for bare concrete.

Too many pressure washers will strip stuff, so it's hard to suggest that's a good idea. I'm not saying you can't get one that will be fine, but I'd avoid it.

I'd be worried that the lower settings for delicate jobs wouldn't be enough to clean, and the higher settings would risk stripping.

You'd be surprised how well regular old floor cleaning products work when you really follow the directions. I'm not criticizing; it's something everyone can find amazing after years of just pouring the stuff in a mop bucket without too much care.
