hey guys, I close on my first house this month and want to start things off right by applying a epoxy coating to the garage floor before move in.
I plan to rent the a floor cutter from Home Depot with the diamond grinding disc, then acid etch, and then apply a rustoleum 2 car garage kit.
the Guy at home depot said if the garage floor doesn't have many imperfections and is level there was no need to rent the machine, just to acid etch twice.
any opinions or guidance? this will be mainly used to store cars with one bay as a work bay until I can build my shop out back.
Edit Purchased the ArmorPoxy kit! Couldn't pass up the awesome deal Greg gave me. started the prep on 5/26 with a good pressure wash and let dry overnight. About to start Acid Etching..
