Greetings GJ!
I've been lurking for several weeks, reading a lot and gathering ideas.
At the end of March I closed on my first home and moved in a few weeks ago.
The home is wonderful and needs very little, just a few odds and ends and some minor repairs.
I'm really excited to start setting up my garage. Approx. dimensions are 21'x21'3" 2-car garage. Initial game-plan is to do the floor (was originally hoping to do tile, but may end up with a coating), install a few more electrical outlets, plumb for air, insulate and sheet rock, add a little more lighting, and install some cabinets.
Fortunately I am able to leave my toys in my previous garage (rental from family) while I work so the new garage is nearly empty.
Hopefully I can add some photos soon and begin my own progress thread as things get going.
Garage will be for storage of my motorcycles and an old racecar as well as maintenance of each. My aim is to have a comfortable, functional workspace that's easy to keep clean and fun to work in.
I suppose that's it for now. Thanks to all of the contributors here on GJ, it's a great resource and a very nice community.
Best,
Mike
