Hello All -

New to the site. I found the forum after doing a lot of research and I'm getting a bit overwhelmed. Hoping to get some good advice and order next week - black Friday if there's sales for the right product. Here are the facts and questions:

My garage is 24' x 24'. Concrete floor probably poured in 1996. Sealed and in good condition. Located in Cape Cod area of MA , so milder NE climate. Not heated yet.
  • It's the entry most people to the home, so I'm looking for something that's clean and functional.
  • At times we'll keep both vehicles in the garage, but most of the time we keep the vehicles outside.
  • The garage has a lot of storage - I added shelves and cabinets to keep things organizes. Hanging shelves and white Ikea cabinets.
  • The garage is used for home projects, typically woodworking, so saw dust. And fishing - tackle, fly tying
  • I don't work on the vehicles myself other than some detailing. Garage does not have a drain, but pitches to the door.
I'm leaning toward a solid tile, because as I understand it's more comfortable on the feet (sometimes bare) and knees. Also, I'll make some saw dust and it seems like it's easier to blow out or sweep. I'd like a good value tile. I'd keep the design simple, maybe a black border and grey tiles. Diamond plate or coin - whatever looks best. One challenge is a super heavy safe. I think some plywoon on top of the tile for that.

Questions:
Recommendation on tile type - flow through or solid.
Recommendation on which tile to get - looks good, serves purpose, good value
Any design recommendation or considerations

Thanks in Advance -

Welcome to the Forum, my limited sense of esthetics tells me that "Keep It Simple" is the best way, I fully expect to be proven wrong.
