First world problems: The tools that don't (yet) exist in your chosen line

I switched from Bosch to Milwaukee recently, due to the fact that Bosch was so far behind in bringing out so many of the cordless tools I wanted. I've been REALLY happy with all my M18 gear, and all of my M12 gear except the vacuum. (Love the M18 vacuum)

With every line, it seems like there is 1 or 2 tools you want that haven't come out yet. In my case, I am happy to see Milwaukee just announced a line of M18 finish nailers, but I am waiting on a M18 framing nailer and stapler.

What's your chosen cordless line and what drives you nuts that another manufacturer's line has it? :)

Talking to the Milwaukee rep the other day he hinted a framing nailer was coming out in may as well. Would be nice if it's true.

I would be very happy if the framing nailer was a May surprise! I'll need it right around that time :)

Believe it or not, I LIKE my Craftsman tools ! Of course most of them are over 25 years old.

I broke down and bought the HF Pittsburgh Pro 25" 1/2" drive breaker bar. I have been hoping that Craftsman would come out with a 24"+ bar for years. Heck, even the 3/4" drive breaker is ONLY 18" !!

I switched from Dewalt to Milwaukee partially because Milwaukee had a fan and Dewalt didn't.

Well, they make it, they just don't import it to the US... M12 Fuel 1/2" impact wrench.

That would never have enough power to be useful for me. When 3/8" sockets go all the way to 24mm and 1", I have no need for 1/2" drive m12. Bigger than those sizes and I need more power than any current 12v tool can deliver.

:dunno:

Maybe I just want it because I can't have it.... Dunno.

Adding thoughts: My M12 3/8 impact will take the lugs off of all of my vehicles, but my deep 3/8" sockets are not quite long enough to keep from getting the battery from getting hung up on the rims of the two trucks. It would be nice to be able to use my deeper 1/2" sockets (or the 5" deep Sunex 2848 socket kit. (Yeah, a stretch...)

M18 cordless miter saw. Dewalt and Ryobi have one, and i can think of a million times when it would be nice to have a Milwaukee one.

I've been on the fence about picking up a Craftsman model to go with my C3 line while I can still get one. It seems like it would be useful to have a smaller portable miter saw.
