Fishing pole storage

I built something similar to what the others are posting, but I mounted it on the inside of the garage door to save floor and wall space.

Simple rack I threw together for the rod building area in the basement.

Rod storage in garage for extra rods. All others are in the boat ready to go at any time.

OK I managed to get a pic of sorts of my ceiling rack described earlier. Not too bad for just a hold it up in the air, point, and shoot shot though...

Perfect! I too was trying to think of something to do with my rods. My ice fishing rods (only 5) I use an old mop/broom holder that I had... the longest one is only 36"
