I've been to Sears and Lowes, looking a set of hose adapters to fit the 2-1/2 OD shop vac hose I have. I need them to fit a Ryobi 14 inch miter saw and a Dewalt 5-1/4 miter saw. Does anyone know where I can buy them. I don't want to "rig" anything. It's going to be taken off and on where they will set. I'm going run a 2 inch pipe and leave it in place so all I need to do is uncapped it and tap into the line for the saw and turn the shop vac on. Kinda like having a manifold for an air line. Sears guy was about a bright as a headight after it's been through a car crusher, Lowes guy just burned dim.

If you have an industrial hardware shop near you check them out. I have a Mom & Pop Fastenal competitor that carries all kinds of hose & fittings/ adapters for industrial vacuum systems

Would this "RIDGID 3-Piece Adapter Kit" from Home Depot work?

I think I'll "piddle around" in the shop this morning and see what I can fab up with what I have to start with. I want to build a "dust" collector for the two saws right now.

Manage to make something fit?

Sure did, 2 inch coupler, a little heat and it slid right on the 14 saw, vacuum cleaner hose fit snug into it. I even took somemore fittings laying around and built a T handle to vacuum the floor. It's a little heavy, but I didn't have to buy anything. I'm going to dig through some more boxes and see what I can come up with to fit the small saw now. I cut two 1/2 moons from some 3/4 board I had to cap the ends.
