Monday I cleared out garage and started grinding with a hand grinder with a diamond blade. took my about 3 hours Monday and another 3 Tuesday to get it all grinded

i will take some pictures tomorrow. I finished the second coat @2pm so I wont move stuff back in till Sunday evening just to make sure its really dried. I wont drive on it for another 10 days

The floors looks really nice, but I have a question. You said you ground the floor and then you did an acid etch. Why did you do both? I would have thought the grinding would be the ideal way to prepare the concrete and an acid etch would not be needed. Am I missing something here?

just did it because it was included in the kit. don't think it would hurt.

used silaflex on the joints and moved back everything in garage. can't wait to park inside again. it's been 5 days since the 2 coat went on I will be giving it 4 more days...

What product(s) did you use ??

What size grinder did you use, and did any circle grind marks show through ??

I'd like to test out doing my covered porch . . . then someday do garage !! ;)

I used a diamond attachment for concrete it was a 4.5 inch blade which I used with a ryobi hand grinder I pick up for $20 buck. took me awhile but it worked well. I used the epoxy shield that were on sale for $22 from $99. actually used two of the 2 1/2 car kits and did two coats.
