Fix a Stamped Concrete Border

Hey Boys and Girls - Help a brother out! Just had a concrete patio poured less than 7 days ago. I think they did a decent job overall but the stamped border looks a little too rough. And some of the color has bled into the broom finish concrete. Any ideas/suggestions for how a DIY guy could improve it? The contractor already applied a sealant to the patio as well. Take a look at the images and share your thoughts. Much appreciated!

You’re stuck with it bud. I’ve got a couple thousand sqft of it and it is what it is unless you rip it out and do it over. You can always apply more sealer to slightly soften up the edges/crevices but that’s about it.

Contractor is going to try and grind out the rougher parts and smooth out the corners. He's also going to apply a new stain to create a cleaner edge. We'll see if that improves it...

as bad as it looks now, in a few years as the concrete weathers, it will blend in and be less noticeable.
Not that it helps you now ...
