I have a Snap On 18v CTB3185 battery that goes with my cordless Snap On impact. I have a barn to work in with no electricity, so the little Snap On is a nice toy when I am lazy and don't want to turn a wrench.
I get a voltage reading of 1.9 volts on it, and the continuity check doesn't even register- it does not come up with a figure nor does it beep(even intermittently). I did not take the battery apart, it does not appear the clips are broken. I have another battery that is good that confirms the charger is good, and so is the tool.
Even if it only gets a little more life out of this battery, if there is any thing I can do to get the non-working one, working, I want to do it.
Thank you fellow tool junkies.
