My wife came back from a week-long 700 mile trip, maybe 200 miles
on country roads. She said the car, 02 Honda Accord, had developed
a bad squeak in the front end.

I found that it was just on the pass side and I could hear it when I
pushed down on the pass side fender. I jacked up that side and
checked the suspension, and it all looked good.

Then I noticed a piece of gravel stuck between the lowermost 2 coils
on the spring. I removed it with a screwdriver, and the squeak was
gone.

I was thinking lower ball joint, or strut, but it turned out to be a cheap fix.

Gotta love it when it is something simple like that, just don't tell your wife it was such a simple fix.

And tell her to quit driving so fast on gravel roads. :3gears:
